Nathan Von Uhl specializes in maximizing human potential by identifying, exploiting, and ultimately synthesizing the individual strengths of each member of a team to create unprecedented results in any context. Nathan, aka “Circus,” was raised in a small town in Indiana by a family in the performance business. Nathan’s father immigrated to the United States and made a living on his skills as a lion trainer, and his mother made a living as a rock singer. Raised as a multi-faceted circus performer, Nathan leveraged his passion for precision, skill, and excitement of performance into his next adventure of becoming a Navy SEAL.

Nathan joined the U.S. Navy in 1995 and became a U.S. Navy SEAL. Nathan completed the Special Operations Combat Medic Course in 1997 and, upon completion of that course, was stationed at SEAL Team One for five years.  While at SEAL Team One, Nathan deployed overseas multiple times and operated as a heavy machine gunner, combat medic, and point man.  Nathan became a Navy SEAL instructor in land warfare for Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Training Detachment (TRADET) from 2002-2004, where he provided multi-disciplinary training in Land Warfare, tactics, techniques, and procedures to hundreds of seasoned SEAL Operators.

Nathan completed his tour with NSW TRADET in 2004, and then he joined the Active Reserves. While in the reserves, Nathan deployed multiple times throughout Middle East and Asia, where he served as a SEAL operator, combat medic, Iraqi Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) instructor, and civil affairs coordinator. Nathan was a founding member and Chief of the first reserve-only SEAL Team 17, where he successfully led Navy SEALs through an active duty work up and deployment to enhance worldwide Military Joint Forces’ Special Operations worldwide mission.  Nathan served as the Training Chief and Senior Enlisted Advisor to the reserve component of Special Operations Command Korea (SOCKOR) where he participated in drafting South Korean Strategic policy and training South Korean SEALs to establish training curriculum to enhance their warfighting capability. Nathan retired from his 21-year career in the U.S. Navy / U.S. Navy Reserves in 2016.

At the same time that Nathan was an active reservist, he pursued a career in law enforcement.  To that end, Nathan attended the Riverside County Sheriff’s Academy in 2004, was voted class president, and graduated with top honors. After graduating, Nathan was assigned to Patrol and Dive Team Operations from 2004-2007.  Nathan served on the Riverside County Sheriff’s SWAT team from 2007 – 2017, where he conducted hundreds of SWAT operations including armed barricades, hostage rescue, high-risk felony warrants, and active shooter situations. Nathan has trained thousands of law enforcement personnel as a Firearms Instructor, Sniper Instructor, Patrol Tactics Instructor, SWAT Tactics Instructor and Under-Cover Operations/Surveillance Instructor for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

Nathan also was part of the U.S. Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force from 2010-2017. In addition to operating full-time on the SWAT team, he was on the Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Warrant Enforcement Team (FWET) as a U.S. Marshal Special Deputy, where he was involved in hundreds of fugitive apprehensions of armed and dangerous fugitives.

In April 2017, Nathan co-founded Kaizen Global Solutions (KGS) and was the Chief Executive Officer. Nathan helped build KGS from an idea to deploying KGS employees to assist the United States efforts to strengthen global security. 

In November 2017, Nathan co-founded Endex Solutions and was the Chief Training Officer. Nathan preformed threat assessments to multiple businesses and conducted personal protection services to multiple high wealth individuals. 

In April of 2019, Nathan started working for Spartan 7 conducting executive protection operations for Hollywood celebrities and high net worth clients. 

In October 2019, Nathan founded Kirkos Solutions, LLC.
